What young adult books do you recommend?
I am looking for
good young adult books to recommend to my eleven year old cousin. She has a joy
for reading that I want to help encourage. I haven't read many young adult
books. Any recommendations would be very helpful.

Deciding What Book to Read
I'm trying to decide what book I want to read next. My kindle has so many great choices that I'm finding it hard to pick one. It's like trying to eat just one potato chip. You want more than one. Unfortunately, I can only read one book at a time.
Any recommendations for great books?

How Do You Buy Books?
I tend to buy books as they release, but it depends on how much
money I have to spend. So, I've also got lists of books I want and use my wish
list on Amazon to keep track of the ones I want to buy. If I haven't read the
first books in the series, I usually put the rest of the books on my to-buy
list.
I love having the books waiting for me on my Kindle to read. When
I'm looking for a book to read, I go through my Kindle library to find the one
I want.
How do you buy books? Do you buy them as they release or do you
have a to-buy list?

Fatal Flaw by Marie Force
Fatal Flaw releases today. I've been looking forward to this book since Labor Day when I finished reading Fatal Destiny. The Fatal series follows the same couple, Sam and Nick, throughout each book.
I love the way Marie Force has me turning the pages with each new book.
Sam and Nick are three dimensional characters who keep me coming back for more.
The cast of supporting characters are well written. Sometimes when I'm reading a book and the POV (point of view) changes
to a secondary character I am anxious to get back to the hero or heroine's POV.
However, I haven't felt this way with any of the Fatal books. The
secondary characters are well written and you care about them as a reader.
I highly recommend reading this series. Book
one is Fatal Affair. All the book information can be found on Marie Force's website.
I'm off to read Fatal Flaw. I arranged my day with the hope of sitting
down and reading. Here's hoping for no interruptions.

Love the Beginning of the Month
New releases always make me happy. Harlequin books release today. I'm a sucker for a great romance. One day I should count the number of Harlequin books I own. They are great reads.
I love the Harlequin Blaze line. I usually end up buying all six of them each month. I also love the Harlequin Romantic Suspense, Romance, Superromance, and Intrigue lines. Add in a little HQN and Mira and I'm a happy girl.
I have found some Harlequin Present titles that I've liked lately. I hadn't ventured much into that line until recently.
Do you like Harlequin books? Which ones do you find yourself buying each month?

Mondays and Tuesdays are Great Days
I love the beginning of the week. Must people are thinking I'm crazy right now. Why do I like Mondays and Tuesdays?
New book releases. Monday brings new releases from Carina Press. Tuesday brings new releases from a number of publishers. I love getting new books! I have almost so much fun buying the books as I do reading them.
Today If You See Her by Shiloh Walker released today. I've been looking forward to reading this series. Also, Sweet Stuff by Donna Kauffman released today.
So many great books to read. Not enough time each day to read them.

Putting the Book Down
Last night I could have stayed up all night reading Cover Me by Catherine Mann. Unfortunately, I had to force myself to put the book down. Too much to get done today to have stayed up late into the night or rather early morning hours reading. Being an adult sucks sometimes.
Do you have problems putting the book down to go to sleep? Do you stay up all night reading? If not, how do you resist the temptation to continue reading?

Too Many Choices, Too Little Time
I sit here debating which book I want to read next. I'm going through my kindle library and there are too many books that I want to read. I just can't decide.
How do you decide what book to read next? What books do you recommend?

2012 is Full of Promise
New Year's resolutions never work for me. I don't remember ever accomplishing any resolution I've made. Instead I am setting goals for this year. My two biggest goals involve reading and writing. Two of my favorite things to do.
In 2012, I want to read 100 books. I managed to read 63 books in 2011. I may have to sleep less to accomplish it, but reading is worth losing sleep. On the downside, lack of sleep may make me cranky so I need to take that into consideration.
Also, I want to finish plotting the book I am working on, write it, and then edit it. My plan is to submit the book by the end of the year.
Of course, writing and submitting a book may limit the number of books I get read. However, I'm dreaming big. No reason to have small dreams. Dreams are about all of life's possibilities.
What do you want to accomplish in 2012?
